2012, 144,000, 666. Some very interesting numbers
With 2012 only a couple years away I hear a lot of talk about the biblical prophecies that most modern religions interpret as “the end of the world.” This of course stems from several cosmologies from around the world that have astrological calendars with significant dates from 2011 to 2013. These philosophies include the Hopi Indians, Tibetan beliefs, and the famous Mayan calendar. I have noticed in the past, there has never been a shortage of interpretations regarding these exciting predictions. The challenge I found is the lack of unity these theories seemed to have. This is not a new trend. Throughout history when new philosophies are born it seems they rarely give much credit to their sources. You will notice most religious symbols, rituals, and holidays have pagan (A word Roman’s used for local or native) roots. Religion is the oldest game on the planet. On the other side Mysticism has over centuries adopted many of the structured beliefs we find mainly in modern religion. There is a teaching in the bible that states, by two or three witnesses will truth be established. I believe that by combining different philosophies we can find some clarity on these tricky prophecies.
When mentioning 2012, a comment or two about the Mayan would probably be appropriate. The Mayan calendar consists of a series of wheels or gears of various sizes. This combination creates “long count” dates and “short count” dates. December 21st, 2012 represents an important date that cycles around approximately every 26,000 years. Some of the Shamans around the world believe that this ushers in a time of intense earth activity, including several cataclysmic events. Although they may argue the details of these events, they do agree that the results will cause mankind to move to a higher state of consciousness. We also need to look at the Mayan calendar in terms of seasons. Just because spring technically begins on March 21st doesn’t mean we are guaranteed spring like weather on that day. With a 26,000 year season it is hard to tell what day a specific event will occur on. It reminds me of an old saying, “No man knoweth the hour or day of my coming.” It has always been difficult to pin point exact days of predictions, but if you watch carefully you can definitely see the seasons changing. So, I give you that information as a teaser, I believe the key to unlocking prophecy resides in our own essences. The most accurate input I’ve found comes from common people and their experiences. Pay close attention to your dreamtime during the next few years and you might find you have more answers than you thought possible.
In this article I am going to focus mainly on the numerology of several predictions. A major part of Hebrew philosophy is their symbolic use of numbers. There is a reason why you see numbers repeated throughout the bible. Each number is given a meaning. They use these numbers symbolically as often as literally. Here are a few examples. Repeating a phrase three times sends the message “that all is done.” The number 7 represents spiritual completion, while the number 10 represents a more physical completion. The number 12 represents complete government in contrast the number 6 symbolizes incomplete government. In many stories you have people doing things for 40 days and 40 nights, (fasting, praying, raining). The Book of Revelation, hands down the most popular book in the bible, is full of numbers. Some of these refer to literal events and timelines, others are more symbolic and some are both. Two of the most famous numbers in Christian history are 144,000 and 666. I believe these are to be taken more symbolically than literal. They are obviously related to 12 and 6, the numbers representing an efficient way to govern and the opposite, inefficient way to run things. These two numbers represent Heaven and Hell. Modern religion teaches that these are actual places. I say they are states of being, here’s why. In Eastern traditions they teach us that in every human body is made up energy centers called chakras. We have seven chakras that vibrate at different frequencies. The first chakra located near the end of our spine and the seventh in the crown of our head. The key word in this discussion is vibration or frequency. Science has recently been able to measure are emotions. They discovered that every emotion and thought has a very specific frequency. It brings to life the Biblical teaching that God created the world with the word. Words are powerful, more importantly the vibrations that form words can be powerful.
So, a little more about science, Einstein calculated the speed of light at 300,000 kilometers per second. This calculation refers to light traveling on a flat plane in a vacuum. Our earth is no vacuum and is roundish. We also need to consider the force of gravity. Science has since refined that number into new terms, simple terms according to them. It is said that light travels at the rate of 144,000 arc minutes per second. This number is connected more with the frequency of light rather than the speed. At that rate, light travels around the world 6.66 times per second. I’m always fascinated by the synchronicities we see in the universe. One of my favorite bible passages states that pattern that God uses to convey truth is by using witnesses. “By two or three witnesses shall my word be established.” It is my belief that to truly understand why we are here we must put aside our egos and combine all forms of philosophy. For me, this is the easiest way to triangulate truth. Having said that, it is no surprise that I intend to combine a little bit of eastern philosophy, with some science, and a dash of western ideas to explain a few numbers in the Book of Revelation.
Back to chakras, each chakra is represented by a lotus flower, each having a different number of petals. The 1st has 4 petals, the 2nd has 6, the 3rd=10, 4th=12, 5th=16, 6th=96, 7th=1000. If you add the petals from the 1st chakra to the 6th you get the number 144. Then adding the 1000 petals of the crown chakra you get 144,000. Cool. So the number that is associated with what is called heaven by some and enlightenment by others is 144,000 (vibration of light). The scripture states that this number can be seen on our foreheads. In the case of the number 666 you can find it on a person’s forehead or wrist. There are two metaphors that I found that fit here. The first has to do with biblical history. Slavery was common practice at the time. To identify slaves they were tattooed with their owners “brand” on their foreheads or wrists. That way it was plain to see who they served. The other relevant metaphor has to do with a person’s “third eye chakra”. The third eye chakra is very important with regard to spirituality. It is the chakra that is related to psychic gifts. These abilities allow us to connect with the spiritual, magical realm. It is the mechanism that makes it possible to perform miracles. Our third eye is located directly inside our foreheads.
In conclusion my theory is that heaven or enlightenment is freedom. When we are able to properly balance our energies we are able to hold a high vibration. In the universe this vibration allows us the freedom to travel and experience more places. We have willingly, for good reason separated ourselves from our Creator not in actual space but, in frequency. We chose to come down to a low vibration planet to experience all things it has to offer and to see if we can remember who we are. We are beings of light. We are here to offer our different manifestations of light as gifts to others and the planet. The only state that I truly consider hell is the act of looping round and round the same place (6.66 times per second). I love this planet but it would be hell to forget where I came from and who I am. Sometimes we get stuck in our ego (666). That’s the trick, it is hard not to get stuck in the density. I think that this game of life we are all involved in is pretty cool. Sometimes we forget how fortunate we are to be qualified for this level game. I’m sure our little experiment is quite the entertaining show for the rest of the universe. We seem to attract plenty of onlookers. I look forward to learning more and refining my role in the greatest show in the universe. Thanks and Good Luck. Adam R Sagers
